As we previously reported, it seems as though paranormal activity has been ramping up in the UK over the past few months. There has been a significant increase in the reporting of UFO sightings, and suspected ghost activity throughout the year, one of the most recent examples being heavy activity at Torquay Museum in Devon. According to local paper, the Herald Express, security cameras captured items flying off bookshelves within the museum's gift shop on October 20.

"When we watched the CCTV footage back there was something very unnatural about how the leaflets came off the shelf," Museum Visitor Services Manager Carl Smith quoted to the press after the incident. ""The following day, Friday, an Agatha Christie novel flew off another shelf on the same bookcase. But this isn't the first time that a member of the Museum's staff, or volunteer, has reported books flying off shelves in the shop."

There was also a recent sighting during a school's visit to the museum's library where a woman in Victorian clothes was spotted walking through a bookcase during the middle of the afternoon.
