An Immersive Video Game Called ‘Night Terrors’ Turns Your Home Into A Haunted House

Video games have come a long way from the days of throwing barrels and hitting turtle shells with a hammer. Advancements in technology have made it so that there's not much difference between playing a game, and being *in* a game. A fairly new one called Night Terrors: The Beginning puts a terrifying spin on the augmented reality craze using a combination of intense graphics, spooky/realistic sounds, and syncs it all up with your smart phone's own built in capabilities (flashlight, shake, etc) to essentially turn whatever environment you're in into a haunted house.

Made by Novum Analytics they describe the game in full on their website as such: "Night Terrors is a highly immersive, photorealistic, binaural, augmented reality survival horror game for mobile devices. Gameplay takes place at home, after dark, with the lights off and your headphones on."

What do you think? Are you brave enough to try it?
