People are forever searching for proof of ghosts. Now, a 24-year-old woman in England claims to have it. After celebrating the Glastonbury Abbey Musical Extravaganza, Lara Tetlow, 24, snapped a photo -- and caught a ghost in it.

The theory is that the shadowy figure with red eyes is the spirit of a monk killed by Henry VIII hundreds of years ago.

As the story goes, In 1539 Henry VII closed Glastonbury Abbey but the abbot did not want to listen to the order. The monks involved, including the abbot were hung, drawn, and quartered. The pieces of the bodies were displayed locally as a warning.

They say that hauntings happen when a spirit is restless or died a violent, unfair, or particularly gruesome death. In this case, it would be easy to see why a simple man of faith would still be angry about the way he was treated some 500 years after the fact. And maybe his appearance is a message to all of us to be better and kinder than our forefathers were.
