The Skirvin Hotel in Oklahoma City is considered a very haunted hotel. Especially on the 10th floor. And the other day when Metta World Peace and his teammates were staying there, he claims he had an encounter.

The Lakers were in Oklahoma City to play the Thunder on Saturday. Lakers players Lou Williams and forward Larry Nance Jr. went to a different hotel to avoid ghosts..

But World Peace told the Orange County Register they had good reason.

"The ghosts were all over me. I just accepted it," he said. "They touched me all over the place. I'm taking one of the ghosts to court for touching me in the wrong places."

He was joking, but was serious about the ghost. Legend has it that the hotel is haunted by the spirit of a maid who became pregnant with the owner's child. To avoid a scandal, he locked her up with her child in the hotel and she became so depressed, she jumped out the window holding the baby. A tragic tale. A tragic ghost story. A hotel I wouldn't stay in for a million dollars.
