Michigan's oldest city, Sault Ste. Marie will host some of the biggest names in the paranormal industry in August for the 7th annual Michigan Paranormal Convention. The convention will be held August 26-27 at the Kewadin Casinos' Dream Makers Theater and the lineup features Adam Berry and Amy Bruni of Destination America's new Fall show, Kindred Spirits, psychic Chip Coffey, who you may recognize from Psychic Kids, and Amy Allan from The Dead Files.

This year's convention is shaping up to be their biggest yet and will cover a wide range of paranormal topics such as paranormal investigating, psychic powers, demonology, and UFOlogy. Daily passes are available now for $45 a day.

While you're in Michigan for the event maybe you'll want to spend a night or two at The Holly Hotel, which is thought to be haunted by at least three ghosts. Guests there often pick up on the lingering smell of cigar smoke left behind by it's original owner, John Hirst, who built the place in 1891. Or maybe you'd be interested in grabbing a bite to eat at The Mission Table where visitors have reported seeing the ghost of the lumber baron J.W. Stickney's wife, Genevive looking back at them from the restaurant's mirror.
