EMF Reader

If you've heard the term electromagnetic field (EMF) meter, you might be looking to diagnose problems with electrical wiring and power lines or getting a reading on appliances to figure out what an issue is. It's a tool used in many applications. But the one many people swear by is its most controversial use -- ghost hunting.

EMF meters measure the energy moving electrically through charged objects. They can help diagnose all kinds of electrical and wiring issues, but they can also sense a spike in the signal, which might indicate a presence. And since many ghosts cannot be seen or felt, the reader is particularly important - and sensitive. Research has shown that people can feel or sense ghosts, which indicates a spike in the EMF field during hauntings. The theory holds that ghosts have a form of electrical residue that can be detected by an EMF meters. It's not "proof," but it is one step closer.
